It's Italy. If you're not sure go look at a map. That usually helps.

Well.

It's definatley NOT Canada since that country spans the ENTIRE North American continent horizontally.

Germany is just a little blob of a country (I mean that it doesn't have any distinct shape that I can compare to).

So, even if you didn't know what Italy looked like (which, it looks like a boot, and is indeed a peninsula), since it's not the other two...it would have to be Italy! In case you don't know what a peninsula is..."A peninsula is a piece of land that is bordered on three or more sides by water, but is still attached to the mainland."

A peninsula is a piece of land that is bordered on three or more sides by water, but is still attached to the mainland and since Italy is located in Southern Europe, and on the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia sharing its northern Alpine boundary with France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia -- then, Italy is considered a peninsula.

Italy. via fact the entire usa is bounded by using water on 3 aspects (west, south and east). Canada and Germany has some aspects which could be called peninsulas, yet as an entire, they are actually not peninsulas.

By definition, a peninsula is any body of land that's completely surrounded by water on three sides.

Canada can be considered a peninsula since it's surrounded by the Atlantic, the Pacific & the Arctic Oceans. HOWEVER, Alaska disrupts it.

A few parts of Germany are peninsula's, but Germany itself is mostly landlocked.

Italy is the only country that's a peninsula by it's boundaries as the only land area it's connected to are the Andes Mountains (although I may be wrong with the name).

Italy of course

Italy. It sticks out into a body of water and is surrounded on water by three sides. Germany is land-locked, and Canada as a whole is too large to be a peninsula.
