ok righttttttttttt

to number 1 the people from eu migrat to the uk because we have better jobs with better pay because with some of the jobs in the eu is bad pay and its hard to find a good paying job

number 2 the rate of illegal migration is 2000 per day so legal must be very high

to number 3. they settle in rich countries like the uk to make a better life for their family because pay is better in the uk

to number 4 immigrats work illegally for less money so more like legal workers cant get jobs because people are taking the jobs for less pay and then unemployment in the country rises

to number 5 you need to have a passport to get into a country and many countries dont let you in if you have a criminal record and you also need a work permit to get a job in the country your going to but some people get in to thee country in the back of trucks and things then work illegally

hope this helped i may be able to think of more info soon : )

I thought the UK was part of the EU.

1. Legitimate influx of workers from other EU countries.

2. Possibly because UK residents are not prepared to work long hours, at reduced rates of pay and live in sub-standard accommodation. (Not run-down council houses - barns and shacks.)

3. They settle (live) where the work is available.

4. Latest statistics indicate that many foreign workers are returning to their home countries because of their treatment in the UK.

5. You are talking about people from the EU who are legally entitled to com to the UK.

6. Have you ever looked at the number of UK residents who are leaving the UK for a better life in other EU countries?

7. If you went to live in an other EU country, would you expect to be treated so badly that the police had to get involved to protect you?

8. Michel Verheughe: The UK is not a signatory of the Schengen agreement.

You have to look at the Schengen Agreement:

That is the reason we accept people from other EU nations. If we shall have a freedom of trade, we must also have a freedom of movement. The idea is that, with time, we come to an even standard of living and migration is not necessary.
