Eastern Standard Time - GMT offset?

Question

I just joined this site, & it is asking me what my GMT offset is.

I'm assuming it's asking my time zone offset from London, since that is where the site is based.

I got by EST where I live, but I'm no good with time zone specifics, so if anyone could help me out here .. that'd be great.

What's my offset? Lemme know (:
