i just saw The Matrix Triology again! for some reason and watchin this movie once again, i kinda think that we do live in a dream like state and that we only see what we are shown. we can only see 3 dimensions (the x dimension, the y dimension and the z dimension) but i believe that there should be atleast 7 dimensions. like we have the seven colors of light, or the seven notes of sound, or seven days of the week, the seven oceans, the seven populated continents, the seven planets (since pluto is controversal now and mercury is too hot), and so i think our mind is not yet able to see all the dimensions except for three! what do ya'll think about this?

Travel the oceans and the seven seas.

Ancient Seven Seas Modern Seven Oceans

1. Mediterranean 1. North Atlantic

2. Black 2. South Atlantic

3. Red 3. North Pacific

4. Persian 4. South Pacific

5. Caspian 5. Indian

6. Arabian 6. Arctic

7. Atlantic 7. Antarctic

I think.

There are seven notes, do is just an octaval repeat of do.

Antarctica is not poulated in the normal sense of the word.

So just continents.

And those are not the right seven planets. I guess you could just not count Earth but these are the ancient seven planets

1. Moon Silver Ag All the metals known in

2. Mercury Mercury Hg ancient times had a planet.

3. Venus Copper Cu The others couldn't be seen.

4. Sun Gold Au

5. Mars Iron Fe

6. Jupiter Tin Sn

7. Saturn Lead Pb

There are just so many groups of sevens in the world.

However I don't think this has anything to do with a matrix.

It's just a nice sized odd number for things. Nit too many, not too full. Oh and the most number of things that you can have in your mind at once. VERY IMPORTANT.

Although there are theories about the psychology of cults being more effective on certain individuals, childhood indoctrination, and god being a placebo for reality, the simple answer is because they want to. I'm an atheist. If you keep an open mind I will try to explain what I believe and why. Have you ever considered the possibility that there may be more explanations for our reality than just gods (creationism), evolution and the big bang? Isn’t it a false dichotomy to assert that if creation is a myth evolution and the big bang must therefore be true? We know they can not both be correct, but that doesn’t mean they can’t both be false. Why do we assume that the universe requires a cause (the big bang) or a creator (god)? I believe we’ve come to this conclusion because everything in the universe (to our knowledge) appears to be driven by the law of cause and effect. If the universe is the source of the law of cause and effect why would its existence be subject to that law? There is no way to derive evidence to support such a conclusion. So if the universe wasn’t created why is it here? We know the universe exists for us because we perceive it. What allows us to perceive the universe? Consciousness. Consciousness is the genesis of reality. Without consciousness the existence of the universe itself is irrelevant. That the universe requires a cause (the big bang) or a creator (god) is hypothetical. That the universe exists for you because you perceive it is irrefutable. Is this proof that there are no gods? No, it is not, but the bible was written by men. That it was guided or inspired by a deity is accepted on faith. Moreover, if the universe did not require a creator or designer, why would the spirit or soul? We experience reality - - reality does not experience us. If matter could randomly re-arrange or evolve to produce consciousness the universe itself would be sentient - - it is not, but we are. The physical laws of the universe did not create our reality. They are only observations that we have made to help us understand our reality. Energy, matter, space, and time are only ideas to our consciousness just like being human and life and death. Matter is a subset of reality not the source of it. Are the philosophical arguments in the details of my question proof that the human soul is real? No, they are not, but what if the soul is real? According to our scientific understanding if the brain ceases to function the mind also ceases to function. This, of course, sounds logical, but is it really? At one time we believed that when darkness fell the sun actually stopped shining. It seemed logical based on our observation yet today we know that the sun continues to shine for the other side of the planet while we experience night. I submit that just because the mind is no longer able to animate the body it doesn't mean that its essence has ceased to exist. We may simply not have the ability to "observe" or measure its existence much like when we couldn't detect that the sun was still shining at night.

A lot of the ideas in The Matrix were based off of Eastern philosophy and given a sci fi twist. That's why it appealed to so many people on a deeper level, because there was some substance under the special effects. I liked the first movie (they just decreased in quality after that), but I don't believe in it. Nor do I personally ascribe to any Eastern philosophy, but if you find the ideas explored in The Matrix interesting, you might want to look into it yourself, particularly Taoism and Buddhism.

I think that it could be true, maybe not in particularly Matrix way, but in sens that we are a part of some greater being, like our whole galaxy is only an atom in somebody. I know it sounds crazy, but could be!

I love Matrix, expecially 1 and 3

I think that you are very intuitive, i also see a special relevance with the number 7, but also the number 2 is important

yes i do believe in this teleology, 1 because all humans, are like batteries and the life span of each and individuals, we don't know, but this is for sure we all come and we all go, as a for a given answer when our lord god said he has created us all equal, this means blood, skin, and tissues of our layer body's, but each has different looks due to an sister or descendants to our family? so in short life is uncertain, and the same way of a battery? now don't you think so?

There are 8 notes of sound, and 4 oceans (maybe 5, depending on who you ask).

Well, it's not what I believe, but I can't prove you wrong. We actually are in four perceivable dimensions though. The other is time.

Its all very possible, thing is i would rather live in what i perceive as reality, rather than have to adapt to a whole new way of life, call me lazy or whatever but its just easier this way.
