The Continental US lies north of Canada in only a couple spots, notably near Niagara Falls (Buffalo) and in Michigan and I think up in Washington state. Clearly, the answer is Detroit and this has been referenced several times on ESPN radio as sportscasters talk about how unbelievably close it is from the shore of Detroit over to Canada.
