Ok, Little Italy is between Lombard and Fleet Streets, President Street and Central Avenue, it was most likely like that then as it is today. Italians also live various areas in the far eastern section of the city, Eastern and Northeastern Baltimore County and Harford County today.
Jews used to live north of Lombard Street, East of President Street in Jonestown east through Washington Hill and Middle East to Broadway before World War II, after World War II they lived west of Pimlico Road North of Gwynns Falls in Forest Park and Park Heights in the City and Randallstown and Gwynn Oak just west of the city and after that they now live in Pikesville and Owings Mills and Reisterstown.
Irish used to live east of Central Avenue in Fells Point, east of Charles Street on Locust Point, in various areas North of 33rd street east of Hillen Avenue and now are scattered throughout various counties in the metro area and can definately be found anywhere you see a Baltimore Police Station or Fire Station as both are historically Irish Departments.
Germans used to live west of Martin Luther King Blvd and East of Wilkens Avenue amongst other areas in the South/Southwest part of the city and Hampden in North Baltimore and are now scattered in the Baltimore Metro Area.
Polish, they still live east of Patterson Park Avenue, South of Eastern Avenue in Canton and have lived there and in various Irish neighborhoods and now throughout the county.
Greeks, they lived east of Ellwood Avenue below Baltimore Street and while that area Highlandtown and Greektown still have a Greek presence, they now live more scattered throughout the metro area.
English or Bluebloods, they used to live everywhere in North Baltimore that is still fancy today.
Who am I missing, oh yeah what would Baltimore be without the Blacks, they are historically rooted in the Dunbar Broadway Area North of Baltimore Street, South of Madison/Monument Streets, East of Fallsway and West of Broadway in East Baltimore and the Upton Area east of Pennsylvania Avenue below North Avenue above what is now MLK Boulevard in West Baltimore. Blacks now occupy all of what is considered East and West Baltimore in West Baltimore everything North of Frederick Road South of Northern Parkway is Black, in East Baltimore, everything North of Orleans Street South of 33rd Street West of Edison Highway is Black and various sections of Northeast Baltimore and the Cherry Hill and Carrollton Ridge areas of South Baltimore are Black. You can't go anywhere in Baltimore without thinking about them as they are after all 65-70% of the city's population and they are the loudest about their representation in Baltimore today.
And Last But Not Least the Hispanics, they dont have a historical center in Baltimore, they are living in Fells Point and Washington Hill and other such areas but while they are growing, Baltimore's Spanish Speaking Priorities are rather low compared to that of other major cities.
