As deep as the ocean goes, we just don't know it yet. All we have to do is stop the earth from spinning (superman get outside and push) and then the water will drift away because of no centrifugal force. The earth will start to disapte and it's own mass will not be enough to hold everyhting together (gravity). Then we will just hike down the empty sea beds and discover all the aliens hiding below.

All the way to the very bottom in the 1960's. That has only been done once though. Sound familiar? They do sent robots thoough. Hmmm. Strange. They go there just to show that they can and then they decide that robots can do the job cheaper and with no risk.

Well I don't know if people have actually gone, but for sure we've sent probes all the way to the bottom.
